    Street Bike Project-Warning Picture heavy.

Back in November of 2015 I picked up an 03 R6 with 11k miles on the clock. Bike wasn't in the worst of shape but I have seen better. Was previously used as a track bike but I think it really was built into one and only used for one or two track days.

So the day I picked her up.

Got her home and she sat for a couple weeks while I pulled together some parts. Ordered a new battery, pazzo levers, new exhaust manifolds, zero gravity front wind screen, and new rubber.

    Some of the goodies

So ripped into the bike over the last week and a half or so.

started getting some of the painted fairings on in this picture while others were taken off. Also changed a couple oil gaskets, stator gasket etc... Rear tire off for change out, learned a lot about bikes and added to my mechanical knowledge so bonus for me.

alright so after some needed tlc I started to get the painted fairings back on.

Rode her on Saturday and man what a feeling to be back on a bike. The bike has block offs/K&N air box, also Power commander and tune was done to the bike back in may of 2015 along with the full micron exhaust. But will be loosing the micron for a M4 shorty that looks a lot better. Along with adding some new grips to the Vortex clip ons.

More to come as I pull more apart and put new parts on.

Love the new levers I put on mine! Similar to yours. Just having the adjustability was worth the price.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

Absolutely! Love them! Purchased a new set of not cut frame sliders and some new bar ends/grips last night. The ones on there now suck.
