1993 stealth rt dies hot and wont restart

I'm looking at buying a 1993 dodge stealth rt for a really good price but once it heats up it dies and wont restart. i was wondering what you guys think it could be and how to test these things. he says it started doing it after it was rebuilt and he has replaced the fuel pump and other things trying to troubleshoot it but was unable to do so and has given up. Any help would be appreciated as i would love to own one of these cars.

Being a 93 I would look at the ECU first.

I'm going to go look at it tomorrow and I was just wondering how these things do for reliability as it would be my daily driver .

That is not a daily driver. It sounds like an incredible headache and probably a money pit. It could be as simple as the ECU, MFI relay, or a coolant temp sensor, but I wouldn't bank on it. I steer far clear of "just rebuilt engine" with these cars unless it was a known 3/S builder.

Quick glance at that listing, run, run, run away.
Oil pan is flattened and probably inches from bearing loss. Non-re-circulated BOV while still running the stock MAF. That would be a no go for me in my humble opinion.

lol if i had a dollar for every car ive looked at where it has a "freshly rebuilt engine" id have the fastest 3s in the world. every schmuck on craigslist has a rebuilt engine. have them cough up paperwork or buy it for parts and sell them to get a better daily driver
