    Oil weight

Well its a pretty simple noob question. but can I run 15w-40 in my N/A? It calls for 10w-30.

I run 20w50 in the summer and 10w40 all other times. 15w-40 isnt going to hurt it.

If you want something that you can run for a long time, check out amsoil. The best shit in town. In a NA, You could probably run it 15-20k miles before needing to change it.

It would be ridiculous to run oil that long. Condensation will contaminate oil. I would NEVER run oil that long in any car.

I know Aimsoil is real good. But I cant find much of anything anywhere. Pep boys was where I was at today, and even they had a small section.

a friend of mine , a cheap guy has a 1998 chevy with over 150000 miles on it changes his oil every 10000 or once a year and car runs fine. he uses mobile 1 0-30 .. we use rotella 5-40 in mikesvr4 and change it about once a year which is about 500 miles .. so i gets put to bed with new oil before the weather gets cold ..also never run the car without the engine coming up to temp.
