    I might have to try to make the Shootout this year. I've been talking about going for years and never did it. Norwalk is only 3.5 hours from me anyhow.

    You should. Very well put together event. Was my first time last year.
    1992 Kilder Green VR4 - First 4G swap in a 3S. 2.0, auto, awd. 9.65 at 143mph. Now LS swapped. 8.52 at 162.

    Yeah, my buddy with the badass Conquest goes every year. Maybe I can get my cousins to go out with me since we talk about it every year. LOL

    Thank you for clearing that up! That's what was throwing me off. I did a bit of looking around on the EVO forums and those are indeed the correct part numbers.

    No worries at all, interesting stuff to read so I don't mind. The fuel economy was the main thing driving the swap, however just the experience of having a swap done alone would be something that I would love to have.For now I'm just going to get the taller 5th gear, but after looking more into it, a 4G swap is probably something I'll do in the future
