No worries. I just wish we would have figured this out years ago before ever advertising the EVO MAF. Would have made things much simpler.

Now I am really interested in this and may have to find another stock Evo MAF and 3S MAF (same housing as a 2G DSM or just the same connector?) to play with. The Evo MAF shouldnt really ever be a restriction for what I am running but the stock MAF housing just fits so much nicer.

The date for the new Runway Rivalry III (the event in my sig picture) has been set and I plan on participating, so we will have some dyno numbers in March (I'm slammed at work right now so no car work until after the 28th)

    My setup is 1,000cc e85 19T HL .

Jester will probably dyno at the same time. So we should have some good numbers on a mustang dyno to post up in a months time.

I'm running one of Emilie's Stealth. Some day I'll find time to get it on the dyno.

I will need one of these new MAFs, If you are hacking old 3S MAF's and modding them, can we send in a MAF for modification?

just compared the 3s maf and evo9 maf side to side the difference is minimal if any thb.

why? because the funneling walls inside the 3s maf are so thick. at the honeycomp they are like 4mm thick. While the funnel walls in the evo maf are about 1mm thick

take a light and examine the funnel walls in the 3s maf you'll see yourself. tbh I'm starting to think evo maf is less restrictive because of this...

Dyno results will tell the story. Easily swapped if little adjustment is needed, and boom numbers.

Too bad I suck at getting back to mine
