    The injector manufacturer's numbers are not very good for chrome.

    I think people over think injector scaling and latency values. This stems from the "EVO tuners" way of thinking in that they mainly use those two values to tune the fuel trims. In reality, you can put whatever you want in those tables and fix your AFRs in the MAF smoothing table.

    Before the gurus figured out the entire ROM, they mainly used the injector latency and scaling values simply because they didn't know how the MAF scaling and smoothing tables worked yet. This tuning approach hasn't really been changed as it became habit.

    Assuming there is nothing off with your setup. Like huge intake or injector leaks or fuel pressure issues of whatever... If you disable closed loop, type in the manufacturers setting and started the car, it should run well enough for you to get a glimps of the wideband. Then grab a calculator, log the wideband and airflow HZ values, then adjust the MAF smoothing table to the percent variance you logged in the wideband to your desired AFR. This is almost always a requirement when tuning for E85 anyway.

    So you're saying I can tune 1000cc injectors leaving it set as the stock 360cc for scaling and zero out latency table and just tune using the VE table?

    I'm thinking of it as I did my old eManage, Setting the injector scaling will rescale the stock fuel map within a range of the injector scaling so that you can fine tune from that point. So O started with the injector scaling to get within an acceptable range, then adjusted latency till the O2's cycled as they should and then smoothed it all out with the VE table. Is that the wrong approach or thinking? I think this is all along the same lines as OP opened the thread about. Not trying to hijack the thread.

    Derail it all you want. I like reading this info.

    As stated, all I am wanting to do is to get the ecu working with these 1000cc injectors like it was stock. Then do all of my tuning with the dr-arc2.

    I don't know why you would do that. Get the injector values at least in the ballpark and tune from there. I thought that was what I was saying.

    It was more a comment for Greg E in regards to his statement about not needing to set the scaling and latency values. I agree with you to set the scaling in ballpark and then fine tune from there, Greg E seems to think differently so just wanting him to clarify.

    That would be silly. Assuming the engine would stay running then yeah you could do that assuming the difference is with in the range of the MAF smoothing table.

    At the very least set the injector size value so it's close enough to at least start.
