High End Part-Out– Race Long Block, Single Turbo Kit, Built 5-speed Trans, SS T-case

I’ll be starting my part out next week. See my original sale ad below for a list of mods and the following link for many pictures of the car, fabrication, and parts. I won’t sell any smaller parts until at a minimum I have a deposit for the long block and/or trans. I have owned the car for over a decade and only put a few thousand miles on it, never seen snow. The main mods below are all in near-new condition. Delivery available for everything within a reasonable distance. Freight at buyer's expense. Feel free to make an offer, but I'm in no hurry to sell so I might just say no.

    Original Sale Ad:

    Photos:

Race ready forged long block: $4000 SOLD!
4 bolt 0.040" over (92mm) with nitrided forged crank (crankshaft supply in MN), Wiesco K570M92 8.3 compression forged pistons, trend tool steel wrist pins, crower rods, clevite bearings, arp main and L19 head studs, oem gaskets, IJ windage tray, billet oil pump, etc. Professionally machined/blueprinted and balanced by Automotive Machine in Frasier, MI (deck polished, torque plates, mains line bored - 50% recip % factor, bob weight 776, total rotary 444g). Great oil pressure and compression. Professionally ported and built 2g heads w/ new oem valves, early 1g cams (best ones to run), fidanza cam gears, new guides, mitsu seals, Kiggly beehive springs, titanium retainers, 2g lifters, and Ray P's head lift fix. DR ported lower intake manifold, stock upper intake if wanted, new OEM timing belt parts, new OEM harmonic balancer, new OEM oil pan to be included if buyer doesn’t want turbo kit oil pan. Less than 300 miles on the long block. Come see/hear/feel it run before you buy it.

Single Turbo Kit: $2500 or $3000 with both turbos below
Single turbo “kit” complete from oil pan to driver side intake manifold: $3000 or $4000 with below turbos
Fully custom 304l/316l stainless single turbo v-band setup designed for t4 inlet turbos. Similar in layout to the IPS kit but with improvements IMO. Includes everything from drivers side inlet intake manifold to oil pan including 4" thick FMIC, 3” ic pipes w/ t-bolt clamps/couplers, Spal pusher fan, 3.5" stainless downpipe, accufab 75mm TB, turbo intake/filter for speed density or evo maf, Tial bov, Tial 46mm external wastegate, SS turbo heat shield, 3.5 to 4" stainless single exhaust, custom front motor mount bracket, n/a power steering reservoir/bracket/lines, new OEM oil pan with welded –AN fitting, SS oil feed/return lines/fittings, etc. It takes probably 20 minutes to swap from one turbo to another. Deft 2g carbon fiber hood with vent/clearance for intake manifold optional.

    Turbos: $500 (S300) and $1000 (S400)
One BorgWarner Airwerks 66mm s300sx3 single turbo (P/N 177281) good for an easy 650 whp. Also have a BorgWarner Airwerks 71mm s400sx3 single turbo (P/N 179171) with 2 turbine housings good for an easy 800 whp with good spool characteristics. The S400 1.1 and 1.25 a/r turbine housings both have Shiver’s quick spool valve installed and accessories for quick spool valve installation. Both turbos are in excellent condition with few hours on them.

    5-speed Trans: $3500
Currently installed in the car is a freshly rebuilt (only about 200-300 local break-in miles and 4-5 launches) w5mg1 transmission. All work done by Jon Ripple at TRE in Kalamazoo. At time of rebuild was a new SCE torsen center differential/300m OS, new Quaife front differential, all new bearings (including input shaft), synchros, etc. Very stoutly built. After 50-100 miles break-in switched to Nissan DCT fluid which shifts great (will include new fluid with sale if desired). Come drive the car before you buy it.

    Stainless Transfer Case: $1500 SOLD!
Transfer case has front and mid-section LIPP stainless steel housings with new bearings/seals and a new NBT quadco spool. Always ran SP heavy fluid. This is the most bulletproof t-case you can buy. Same 200-300 miles as transmission and everything else.

That single turbo manifold does seem better than the IPS manifold, because it seems to fit without affecting the subframe....

Yep, one thing I didn't like about the IPS kit was that you had to remove the important sub-frame piece that under the trans. This kit hangs the same distance below the car as the IPS kit, but the drawback is that I "only" have a 3.5" downpipe which transitions to a 4" near the firewall. I'm slightly flexible on the turbo kit because I'd like to see it all get sold together but if someone doesn't want both turbos or is within driving distance we can work something out. I'm willing to drive a distance to meet.

Long block is sold. T-case sold. Disassembly is starting this Wednesday!

Yeah I have the IPS kit and I'm in the process of fabricating the sub piece to accomodate the manifold. That's why I like your kit, it looks way better than most of the over trans kits that people make. Hope this helps for anyone looking. . .

Pains me to see this. If there was anyway I could've liquidated enough of my parts to get the money together, I would've bought it as a whole.

Let me know what happens with the shell, been looking for a while to find a rust free shell in good shape. Whoever buys that transmission is getting a freaking steal, would cost over $3500 just for the center and front diffs. I'll see if Chris may be interested (unlikely, but never know.)
Mods: 2g 3k body conversion, 2g Brake upgrade, Rota P45R rims
Projects: Interior sound deadening, 14Bs, forged bottom end, custom radiator and sound mounts

Keep in mind the shell has the 8-pt cage installed and the interior was fully massaged to fit around the cage. Its actually quite comfortable but it would be a pain to cut the cage out. If you are still interested, let me know how much of the shell you'd be interested in so I can give you a ballpark $ of what I'd want. For instance do you want the race seats, steering, k-sports, brakes, rear subframe, etc? CF hood, 2g body conversion/headlights, etc?

Prices lowered on turbo kit. I will also include a more traditional bolt-on drivers side intake manifold in case that is of interest.
