    Anyone with RECENT Rhino/Line-X/etc experience?

I'm debating on coating the exterior of my Vehicross, rather than paint or vinyl. I'd like some opinions on brands and quality before I make a choice either way. I'm hoping someone has more recent experience with these products--because the formulas being used today are substantially different than those from even 10 years ago.

    1. How effective are the UV coatings?

    2. How uniform is the application? Is it substantially textured? Fairly smooth?

    3. Describe the finish. Hard? Rubbery? Sticky? Gloss? Matte? Color choices? Finish options (metallics, etc)?

    Thanks!

Hard Attack had his 1G RT/TT coated in some form of bedliner. From what I seen of it it looks uniform and had a decent amount of texture. You could probably specify the amount of texture you want. It was hard, not rubbery, and a matte red finish.

So I just finished the paint on the trailer. For the interior I wanted to do a bed liner on the floor area to help clean things up and help with the abuse. Calling around and both Line-X and Rhino liner in my area wanted like $500+ to do it... not a chance. So I bit the bullet and got the Rustoleum stuff from HomeDepot in a spray can. Did the interior floor area in the trailer. it took a couple days to dry but damn is that stuff hard as a rock. Even hit it with a hammer a few times and still looks great. So I decided to use it on some exterior panels on the trailer also. I ended up doing the inside portion of the sail panel and the lower window trim on the trailer. I love the way it came out.

Looks good. Only thing I'd worry about is long-term durability & UV fade.

My bike is bedlinered from the spray cans, been sitting outside all year, still looks the same.
