I've seen this happen before too, always wondered if someone would make a lower timing belt cover out of metal.

There would be the exact same number of shift points and to my knowledge the 5 speed gearbox is not stronger or more durable than the JDM 6 speed. You need to remember that I am only at wastegate and will be adding another bar of boost, so the terminal speed will be vastly different, high 160's minimum. The TC gears yes, although I am hoping iI have a working solution now.

To illustrate my thinking, these are the approximate maximum speeds per gear at 8500 rpm. Bear in mind that as well as the 1/4 this car will also do the 1km once a year too.
