    JDM 74 goodies for sale

Just got my JDM 6g74 in today, I pulled it apart and separated the parts I don't need. These parts have an estimated 50k miles on it stated by the JDM engine supplier.

    Forged 6g74 crank - put this in your 72 block for a 3.5L stroker - $500 shipped
Complete 6g74 heads - same as 2G NA heads - good cores, good for a port job, or good replacements for your bad heads after you replace the seals - $300 shipped
Upper 74 timing covers - front one has a cracking pictured, but will still work fine - $50 shipped
    Upper 74 intake plenum - $75 shipped
    Engine hoist/intake plenum brackets - $30 shipped
74 exhaust manifolds with heat shields - will bolt up to 72 heads, but not sure if they will meet your down pipe - $50 shipped
74 injector harness cover with correct screws - will fit 72 with some trimming - SOLD
Valve covers - look to be the same as a 72, but unsure - $50 shipped
74 injectors - you should probably get themy cleaned - $60 shipped

Also check out my other FS post Two 4 bolt main 72 tuto blocks for use with the 74 crank.

    Pictures in next post.

I have a question for you:

Where the two timing belt covers meet, is there a plate or something that sits "inside" of them... to keep things from falling behind/under them into the timing belt area? Like above the water tube, but in the V of the heads, on the end... the timing belt covers meet right at the top/middle of the plate.

The plate for a 72 won't fit, and I've always been curious what the 74 one looks like, if there is one. I plan to fab something up when I pull my engine this go-round (or buy yours if you'd sell it to me?!).

Edit: I added your pic with a circle around what I believe to be what I'm after.

Found it on ebay, there were two for sale. Messaged the first seller and then gave this second one a call. The guy was very helpful and was able to answer some questions i had about the engine - even going out to look at the oil filter location. He ended up giving me a discount since I bought over the phone. Jdm engine pro is their name.

    Pm coming your way.

Very cool. I bought mine from BestofJDM.com, that website now redirects somewhere else and the 6g74 isn't listed anymore. They seem to be kinda tricky to find. I also had to wait for it to ship from over seas.

PM received and payment sent. Thank you, sir.
