Just wondering why someone would pay to dyno a bone stock 3s? Bone stock infers that is has the stock ECU. IE. You can not tune it at all. So why? At least I never would dyno my bone stock VR4. Unless someone want to do it for free as a base line test maybe then. So guys tell me why did you dyno your bone stock 3s?

A number of reasons why I did it.

It was at the TX3S10 gathering and was fun, also supported a sponsor

Got a base line for my car

Just picked up my '99 and it is a damn good way to see how healthy she is

Now I have a better idea of my drivetrain loss % for future dyno runs.

Oh and fun. That should go on their twice.

This was 10psi, LMI shitty turbos, untuned, 1st pull (stingy dyno). The crappy LMI turbos blew on the 2nd pull so that was the end of that. Was very happy with the one pull though. I can't wait to get back!

lol yeah I didn't notice a big change from wastegate to 10 really. I turned it up on the way to the dyno. This was a fresh build and other supporting mods though. I couldn't tell you all I have on this car now because I haven't kept up with it well (not sure I want to know $$$$ ). Not to mention the difference in dynos. This one might read higher, I was told it was stingy but you know how that is. Would have been cool if we were on the same one to get a better info but as far as turbos are concerned there isn't much more testing that needs to be done on LMI. The consensus is they suck bad!
