i hate how the corner of the hood is right at eye level with me when I'm bending over the engine bay. I'm always worried about gouging my damn eye out.

Seriously, it's like an unbending force. The other weekend I got almost completely done with a clutch swap on the vr4 and thought to myself, "Wow that went way too easily, I haven't even bled yet", I thought this right as I was tightening up the last bolt on the tcase, and wouldn't you know it, the wrench slipped and I smashed the piss out of my finger and instantly saw blood gushing out through my latex glove I got a nice big gash from my tcase brace

I got myself good today...no blood but it hurt like hell...

I went to get in the car and somehow, the door glass caught me right in the arm pit. The corner of the glass jabbed right in there and OMFG that shit hurt like hell.....then I pushed the car out to wash it and ran over the front of my foot..lol..couldn't get to the ebrake fast enough so my foot stopped it.

I'm must be short or something, because I have never hit my head. I have had my hair get caught on the damn clips that hold the hood insulator on, but now I wear a doo rag. And like mentioned above, I can't work on the car without bleeding.

You should child proof your car hood with a little styrofoam on the parts you keeping hitting yourself on.

I think the worst thing that has ever happened, this drew blood, I was working on my fuel pump and it was cold out...the rear hatch came crashing down and nailed me on the back just below my neck. It hit my back bone dead on...now that hurt..
