I've currently got an "old" style Dr header kit that I plan to unload once I can find a "new" style kit.

I've got about the $3000 to play with depending on if the hot side comes with wastegates or not.

I thought Matt will sell you the headers and o2 things for a little over 2000

I've tried, but hes out of stock and doesn't forsee himself making any more 'big turbo' kits since they don't sell quick. Which I can understand from a business point of view, but it still sucks for me lol. I figure 3 grand should be enough to persuade someone to let there kit go. Heck that's 50% more than a new kit retails for.

That's exactly what we ran into on a customer's car... Another shop had installed a knockoff kit, and it kept cracking. About a zillion people including me told him to buy a set from Matt, but when he tried, he got the same answer you did.

I currently have a fab shop building a real set for it... But it's taking plenty of time to happen, and I'm not sure I want to see the bill.

So, if you go to Dr's site and order a big turbo kit he will refund you?

If he has the kit in stock, he'll sell it to you... According to my customer who actually talked to him,(I didn't) he wouldn't break up a kit to sell just the headers, and wasn't planning on having any more built.

So I guess one option would be to just buy a complete kit, and try to sell one of the sets of turbos...

I might end up making my own kit.

This would be a beautiful front merge

Turbo Merge Collectors : 4 to T3 stainless

and im currently working on getting a 3-1 merge for the rear.

Well see what happens. Who knows i may end up selling off my current DR hotside with the PTE DBB Billet 5130s and all the things that go with a T3 setup... But i dont want to since i think they will scream on C16+meth. And honestly 51mm turbos are pretty tiny and should spool dam quick on a 3.1L.
