    1997 3000gt vr4 $12,000 obo

1997 Caracas Red 3000GT VR4, Tan Interior Clean - Car Fax $12,000 OBO - PM me reasonable offers considered, no tire kickers, serious offers only, no joy rides. Car has storage insurance on it now.

Car has 96,466 miles on the Odometer but is pretty much rebuilt more than restored. All VIN tags match.

    Resore Thread : http://www.3sgto.org/3000gt-stealth-...ion-build.html

Car has been 90% restored / rebuild. There was noting wrong with the car when I purchased it other than light surface rust on the underside of the car, third gear needed a new syncro so I had the trans rebuilt. Every part on the car except the rear suspension has been media blasted and powder coated with Zinc primer and either Black or Silver coating. Adding Zinc primer in addition to the top coat adds yet another layer of protection. When I say all parts other than the rear cross member I everything such as.

1). All rear Bumper parts and brackets
2). All Front Bumper parts and brackets
3). All front sub frames and brackets.
4). Various engine brackets, Battery tray parts, ABS brackets all parts inside the fenders.
5). Gas tank, Filler neck, shields.
6). Rear Diff Shield, E-Brake Shields.

In addition to the restoration of the hardware all systems on the car have been rebuilt. They include but are not limited to.

1). Engine Has been refreshed, Heads refreshed with all new seals, gaskets.
2). Turbo have been rebuilt with a rebuild kit.
3). New Oil Pump, Oil Filler Neck, New Sensors, Water Pump, Timing Belt and Tensions, Radiator noses, all vacuum hoses, new Intercooler Y-Pipe / Gasket. Factory air box with all hardware replaced, new front ABS sensors.
4). New hood gaskets, front shocks all hardware, all new brake hardware, lines (rubber/metal), pads, rotors resurfaced, steering rack, all power steering lines front the rack forward, outer tie rods, sway bar links, ball joints, new plastics (wheel Well, dams, etc) on all corners and under the car.
5). Front end has all new bushings on the sub frames (Poly), A Arms have new rubber bushings.
6). New Door switches (that detect open and closer), all bulbs in the car replaced mostly LED, new head lamp bulbs, new shifter boot.
7). Transmission rebuilt new syncros mess, seals, etc performed by Xcelerated Performance transmission tech. New OEM clutch, fork, throw out bearing.
8). Throttle body has been rebuilt completely cleaned by an industry known specialist (April Best), also new IAC sensor
9). Fuel injectors seals and hardware have been replaced / cleaned, Oil Cap and gasket replaced.
10). Engine bay repainted to address some spots that had been damaged by leaky battery. No rust just needed to be touched up so all paint redone.
11). Fasteners, Clips and such all replaced with Mitsubishi OEM parts.

    Additional details about the car.

1). OEM Stereo with new OEM speakers, and AMP, all harnesses in tact. Have rear CD Changer currently not installed.
2). All original gauges and faces.
3). Interior is very clean only traditional wear on the driver side out side bolster (Can be repaired by a fabric place that re-stains leather no rips on drive seat.) One small rip easily fixed by a fabric shop on the rear of the passenger seat about the size of a dime.
a). Original 4 piece OEM floor mats
4). New dash vents installed no cracks. Dash and all interior components in near mint shape.
5). Sunroof, Mirrors, Windows, Rear Wiper, Front Wipers, hatch, all switches, cruise control, radio controls, all in perfect working condition.
6). Digital Climate Control has been rebuilt but a place in Texas, no worries about the typical DCC failure issue.
7). All Seat belts work as they should, the drivers side is a little weak retracting.
8). All rear interior plastics are in really good shape with the proper screw cover caps.
9). Paint in very good shape has some chips that were touched up with color matched paint. Nothing major normal wear. No dents, car had a few small dents that were repaired with paintless dent repair. Has been buffed and polished by me but could use a good detail, clear coat is intact, no fade or peel.
10). New power antenna works as it should.
11). All OEM systems work including rear AWS (steering)

A few things the car needs

1). AC needs to be recharged it was drained when the car was rebuilt (Can have recharged for $150)
2). Drives perfectly just needs a slight alignment.
3). Tires still have decent tread on them but should be replaced after another season.

    Fluids

All fluids on the car have been replaced with Royal Purple synthetics or top version available. When I say all systems I mean.

    1). Brakes flushed / refilled.
2). Power Steering Flushed / refilled.
3). Transmission Cleaned when rebuilt, filled
4). Radiator system rebuilt, flushed refilled (new Hoses, thermostat, water pump)
5). Engine Oil (new oil pump, sensors, oil pick up)
6). Rear Diff drained, cleaned, filled
7). Transfer Case drained and filled.
    8). Clutch Flushed / Refilled.
9). Washer Fluid system Cleaned / Filled

Modifications done to the car by previous owner

    1) Car is lined with sound proofing, making for a better interior experience.
    2) OEM rims replaced with Enkei Rims.
    3) Pampena Fuel pump hotwire kit. Properly done to address the low voltage issues these JDM and DSM issues have.
4). Shifter cable bushings replaced with Copper, and base bushings AL.
5). Has the 99 Red sails, but I have the originals.
6). CD Changer Removed but have the parts.
7). Has limited Edition Montero 315 Watt Infinity AMP 7 Channels, but have original one it works.

    Tests:

No codes in computer, leak down test preformed. Had small leak before the Throttle body was completely rebuilt by April, and the Y-Pipe gasket was replaced, no issues now.

Car still needs a good clean inside, has not seen a winter since being rebuilt no rust, holes, etc.

Minor wear on the drive side bolster, local fabric repair place said it can easily be recondition and redyed.

Those are water stains on the drive, car doesn't have any leaks. Antenna in the picture is before I put a new power on on.

If you didn't look at the thread this will give you an idea of the level of restore.

I ended up having the front rotors turned it has the OEM ones with new brakes. Note the new hardware.

What a beautiful car. I doubt you're even making that much after all the work you put into it.

GLWS, hope it goes to someone who can respect it and treat it as well as you do yours!

I have some room on it. I really need to sell her. Looking like i'll be working in Japan for a few years possibly taking an executive spot. Not budging on my 99 unless I absolutely have to. Just hoping someone makes me an offer.
