    Update (if anyone cares )

Talked to some chinese cnc manufacturer. They could machine the model, if I made some changes. One thing was that the extrusions(word?) for the 3 top holes for the studs needed to go because their CNC knife could not reach in the cramped spot otherwise, + some other stuff about too small radius on some edges etc. Will revise the model send it to them and see if it goes. But I have not had a price yet. Hoping it will not be too expensive, that's reason for why I choose chinese manufacturer..

I can tell you, that's going to be very expensive, particular if you have only a few made. I would have them quote quantities of 5, 10, & 25.

You've always got to consider tool length when you add features. I like to check MSC direct to see if my designs are feasible with standard tooling.. to create those radiused "stud extrusions", they would need to custom grind an end mill. There's no way a standard ball nose with that small radius could reach that far.

    Impressive model regardless.

You may be better off adding weight reduction pockets to the stock mount brackets... :/

Yes I actually asked for larger quantities of 10 and 20. But also asked what one prototype would cost. Because I need to test it on my car first incase there is something I didn't think of like if some measurements are off etc.

Anyways I have removed those round extrusions now and used another solution to have them have thread all the way.

Modifying stock bracket would take away the entire point with this project. Stock is cast steel right. This will be billet alu. So it will be about as strong but saving 3 kilo on all the brackets. Which is pretty nice when you have done most of the other weightreductions on these front heavy cars.

Bums. Was quoted best 200$ for just the big bracket.

    150$ for larger quanity.

Doubt People would find it worth paying that for 4.5 lbs weightsave.

Just an FYI stock is in fact cast steel on 1st gens. It is cast aluminum on 2nd gens.

I believe youre thinking about the rubber mount. That mounts to a bracket of steel on the engine.

Yeah, nevermind. I was thinking of the actual motor mount, and not the motor mount bracket.
