NG16 - Information and a chance for you to influence the location

Voted. Indy. Nothing against Pitt, but not having a hotel where my truck and trailer can be near is a problem. And it sounds like hotel choices are an issue. One of the reasons I have an enclosed trailer is to put my car up at night so I don't have to worry about storms, vandalism, detonated air bags landing on my windshield, etc. Call me crazy, but that's my view.

Gary near is a relative term. If we go to pitt and we use the same hotel the truck parking lot is across the street. The street is a low traffic side street. The issue some had it not being able to be right by the hotel and by the trailers in the evening. Its and inconvenience at best. Off set by the 2 mile drive to the track.

I don't trailer anymore but I would personally like that better. I remember at some other hotels it was a PITA to find room for the trailer and then they were so packed you'd end up getting blocked in.

It's now called the Park Inn. Idk if it's the same owner so maybe they could make an exception and let some trailers park in that area all the way to the right in the picture. I know I don't mind parking my trailer in the trailer lot if o need too. I only like having mine near we are for the kids toys,power wheels,bikes,scooters,swing. But I make due.

The hotel setup for NG11 and NG12 worked pretty well for trailers and regular parking. The fact that we had a nice little corner to congregate in made the after event socializing easier. Not to mention that we a Sam's right there for large quantity beverage purchase.

Just a little, tiny update... The city that's currently in the lead has a huge added benefit. There's a group in that area that wants to partner with us for the road course. HUGE factor in the decision-making. Vote, vote, vote!!! Actually, so far everything I've tried to put together in that city is working out. It might just be meant to be... But I'm not telling you which city it is yet.
