That won't work well when it comes to applying the credits. She'd need to have her own registration to make that work properly.

NG15 - Best 2nd Gen
I'm guessing everyone would like to know what city won... First, here's how this works.
If the city you voted for DID NOT win, then you should PM me (or email me, but please don't just post it in the thread and expect me to catch it) with your intentions. Your choices are to either take a refund of your voting amount or to apply it toward your NG16 registration, IF there is an NG16. The decision won't be made until we know how many people are willing to commit. IF we decide there just isn't enough interest, then we'll refund all funds, regardless of intention. If there IS going to be an NG16 and you choose to apply the funds, you'll get an additional 10% credit BUT it's also non-refundable. For those who voted for the winning city, your voting monies will automatically be applied to your registration (with the additional 10%), and it's automatically non-refundable if we have an NG16. Let's hope that makes sense. When you PM me, PLEASE include your first and last name and the number of votes you placed. ONE PM is enough - please don't send multiples. That just keeps happening...
If you decide to commit then later are unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person, for NG16 only (you can't just save it for another year) for a small fee (usually about 10-20%, depending on how late it is in the process).
With 99 total votes, the winning city is....
INDY.
Michigan had a total of 22 votes, and Pittsburgh had 77.
The plans so far for NG16... I think these are really important to know. For the first time in 5 or 6 years of trying, we've found a group that's interested in teaming up with us for a road course event. This is HUGE. It removes a gigantic financial burden from us and gives us the ability to make some other changes to the event. It means that I might not be able to do things the way you want them, but it also has a huge impact on whether or not there is an NG16. This is truly a game-changer. If that all works out, the event will be held at Putnam Park. We're currently aiming for June 21-26 for the overall event. I'll have to keep you posted, though. It'll depend on when we can make this collaboration work.
Next year is the 25th anniversary of the year the Stealth was supposed to be the pace car for the Indy 500. I've already worked it out so we WILL be able to do another pace lap. This one will be a little different than last time, though. We would be renting the track for a certain amount of time, then run pace laps during that time. I don't yet know what the speed limits would be. Depending on how many cars we have, everyone would get AT LEAST two laps, as opposed to the one we got last time. At least that's my understanding of preliminary emails.
As you can tell, while you've been voting I've been very busy trying to make some of the arrangements for NG in any one of the three cities. I'm please to see that Indy has won, primarily because so far it's been the easiest city to plan. We still have lots of work to do, so the sooner I hear from everyone, the sooner I can get some things solidified. I'd appreciate your PM's (or emails are fine, too) at your earliest convenience. No decisions will be made until we hear from EVERYONE who voted for either Michigan or Pittsburgh. My goal is to have all refunds done no later than August 15th so we can have a week or so to make the final decisions. I hope you'll help with that by simply making your decision and PM'ing me.
The final announcement about NG16 will be made prior to August 25th. I'd like to make it earlier rather than later - I'm running out of summer months to finalize everything, so I REALLY need your help here... Please PM or EMAIL me soon. Thanks so much for understanding.
What was the total # of voters in the end? Indy really grabbed some last minute support!
Damn, really thought Pittsburgh had it. Oh well. Hopefully there is at least an NG16, regardless of where it is.
Total voters was 47. 22 for Indy, 5 for Michigan, 20 for Pittsburgh. Close!
Interested in the attendance numbers from this year?
