From a 15mph roll, I can kill him, he starts to catch me around 120ish MPH, his car is beastly top end. We both are running low 11's right now, Hes on slicks, Im on Z1 star specs. Both having traction issues

    1. racing on public roads. posting it online. yeah...

    2. there is only 1 3/s Panda. ONE.

    3. if both of you have 600whp, he's going to destroy you from a roll every time, unless he doesn't know how to drive. that little toyabru shitbox weighs half a ton less than our crap.

Low 11's? Those frs's are piles. Most all out 6262 e85 4 bangers are running 9's, or at least the trap speeds to do so.

You have to consider power band and gearing before thinking two cars of the same power are evenly matched.

Don't forget weight. Plenty of sub 1000hp cars doing 7's and 8's. Seems like most 600-800hp 3s's hit low 10's at best.

I'm sure that was what IPD was getting out, but it isn't everything.

3/s cars do not E.T. well because they are sticks.

Without getting into it, it's more of an owner philosophy issue than a manual trans problem.

    Guys in dsm's are trapping 135 with a 16g.

    Same story with honda's.

Look at the evo guys running 8's on a 62mm turbo.

The biggest problem with 3s's going fast is a lack of a large number of people competing with each other to go faster.

Keep in mind the people that never submitted to this list. (Hint: the first page has 100 people 9's or faster)

And even when you strip a 3/S its still heavy. So it just ruins whats good about the car and its still slow. Id rather be "slow" and heavy and still have a nice street car than a car that sucks on the street but is still heavy and still slow.
