That would be great because by next year this thread will be buried and the same questions will be brought up.

Oh and another thing about the trophies, sometimes at BRG sponsors make a trophy for some goofy category. I know Richard did it one year anyway. I think it would be fun to do some of those silly categories and maybe less other awards? or maybe do silly awards instead of the banquet state of the union? lol I HATE that part of the banquet

Anyway I think it should be encouraged that a sponsor make a 1st place trophy for what they are sponsoring. It would be cool. I have a bent rod and piston I've been thinking of making a trophy out of for years. I'd love to do it for NG16. (even though I'm not a sponsor)

Paul, I believe this would only work if each category had it's own sponsor like BRG. Plus the sponsor picks their actual category/award title to give away.

We do do silly categories like most likely to get pulled over, work in progress, etc. is that not enough?

Richard made a dragon slayer trophy one year that could be lit on fire. I honestly don't know where Dan has it stored. In '07, we gave out cones as trophies. I do like the ones from 2013 that looked less like the ones we got in sports/academics as kids and closer to the glass ones from BRG, but I think those go for $30+ a pop. I can ask Cty.

I honestly cant see the car sponsor making 12+ 1st trophies plus the sponsorship funds and raffles prizes. I made be wrong though.

I'm talking about maybe making one or two per sponsor for 1st place. I forgot about most likely to get pulled over etc. Sorry about that

I just think it would be cool to have custom trophies even if 3sx had to dig into their toy bin and make some. I hate seeing paper handed out. Even if it was a #1 dad trophy with a sticker over #1 dad . Then again some people would bitch about that. :/
