He does a good job explaining some of the hypocrisies of it. First, to say you feel like a woman or man, when you are biologically different, means you are stereotyping what a man/woman is. You just feel you fit the typical description of what a man/woman is. Second, if you identified as anything other than you are, you would get mental help, unless you are talking about gender... then it's not a mental health issue, you were just born the wrong gender and we can help fix that.

And my post doesn't do that video justice.

Excellent points throughout, but it's not complicated to begin with, and the presumption that anything else is "okay" elbows aside the obvious fact of a problematic perception.

Kudos to Father Mike and his video, but how would his presentation be taken - by anyone - if he were not wearing the collar?

I had a similar thought a while back, when someone posted the clip of Ashton Kutcher appearing on Ellen right after he'd done his thing as Steve Jobs - he said "You have to work for what you get, nothing should be handed to you, you'll appreciate it more, blah, blah, blah..."; how is it that we've come, in such a short time, to the point where Ashton Kutcher gets a standing O for pointing out what everyone was pretty well-versed about until Obama was elected, and we were introduced to the "millennial" crowd?

Hats off, Father Mike - but we really shouldn't need to be reminded of such things.

skip to about 5:20 in this video. the rest of it is basically 5 liberals vs 1 conservative.

this tranny physically threatens the guy for saying that a human with male parts is a male. meanwhile the group chastises the guy for making that statement while ignoring the fact that the tranny physically threatened him. reverse the roles and do you think the conservative guy gets a pass for the physical threats and the tranny gets chastised for making some sort of comment? somehow I doubt it.
