Help with new leather install (passenger seat bottom)

I forgot to take a picture of the under side of the passenger seat before taking it apart. The new seat covers are a bit different and I don't want to make a mistake. It appears that the lower sides of the seat bottom should be hog ringed to the metal extension bars in the attached picture (where my finger is). Can someone confirm this is the case?

These bars seem to be very close to the frame rail when it is all put back together and I don't want to screw things up and have an interference issue.

    Thanks
