harry reid was once a good politician. so was john mccain. chrysler once made good cars. just because something WAS good in the past--doesn't mean it will remain good forever. jeff, out of all people, should NOT be one to let romanticism with the past cloud better judgment. as someone i view as a "kindred spirit" of objectivism, i would not have expected such an emotional basis of reason ever emanating from jeff.

i'm not sure if i should offer my condolences or my congratulations. 3si has turned into a toxic blend of mccarthyism and hooverism. i'm certain it won't be long before tt eliteism returns, and the entire 3si-related community is pushed back another 10 years in development. i've probably been perma-banned over there too, even though i haven't visited there since the uncalled-for-30-day-suspension.

i won't end by wishing death upon 3si; but i do wish that people would take it off artificial life support, and stop subverting dissension & truth.

That's pretty fucked that you could possibly get banned from one website possibly for your actions/statements on another website. If that were the case, I would question the personal integrity of the ban giver.

Seriously, I thought that we got over and away from all of this in high school. This is absurd.
