I'm confused...how is this harassment?

I'm still there because if it wasn't for 3si, I would have sold my 3000GT when the dealership tried to rip me off back in 2007. I lurked there for years without realizing how much information was there. Yes some shit has gone down over there, and I left to come here. But then realized I wasn't ready to pack it in without at least trying to see what was going on. That is when I volunteered to become a moderator to see if anything was going to change or stay the same. Well, I'm still a moderator, so I see there is some hope.

Yet, I still wish Alan the best for this site, as I am a paid member.

Well here is the response I got from DPF:

It would seem that the majority of your posts are aimed at initiating discontent between members and mods. This has gone on long enough. The issue of editing posts is closed. This was a change requested long ago, and is standard on most forums. It resulted from alterred/deleted sales threads after a product was not as described. If it bothers you that much don't stop here. If you can leave it alone, all the better.


I haven't posted anything about editing in a while and this jackass gets mad because I said this: ( I am assuming this is what he's talking about)

LOL!!! I said a while back they where abusing power. Funny how it continues and we STILL cannot edit old post's.

It just confuses the hell out of as I do not see how it is harassment. I cannot edit my "my car before and after thread" that I started on 3si about a year ago and it pisses me off as I was going to use it to help sell the car. Now I cannot add anything to it. He says that the majority of my posts say things like that but this dumbass obviously has not looked at any of my posts as I have not said anything about it in a while.

Now, all you other 3si mods that post on here wondered why people had such a problem with you guys, well, here you go. A perfect example.

Most of it is self inflicted by those complaining.

i'd say closer to 10% self inflicted. most of it is personal vendettas. gatecrasher would be a better mod than those two.

lol...the only reason it bothers me is that it isn't right, I did not harass or insult anyone.

If I really wanted to bitch about DPF and LW I would bring up a transaction where someone said they did not receive an item almost 5 months after I sent the item. DPF and LW told me I needed to send them another one or else it would be escalated as I could not find the information or contract I had with the buyer. I sent the item and then later UPS calls me and had located the tracking number. I ended up getting screwed out of the shipping and the cost for the 2nd item and DPF and LW ignored my PM's about it.

As I stated dpf is childish and arrogant. His excuse is pure bullshit and he knows it. It had nothing to do with sales. People need to update their sales threads all the time when things are sold. The edit feature was disabled strictly to disallow people from deleting THEIR OWN CONTENT.
