Little back story on our Ninja Performance Lite Weight rods

I spent many late nights in cad designing these back in early 2013. Wanted a lite weight option, at the time all the options for forged rods for the 6G72 were nice, but very heavy.

Reciprocating weight (rods, wrist pins, rods)is 10 or more times important than rotational weight (crankshaft, flywheel, clutch). Rotating is easy, reciprocating (changing direction)is much more difficult and stressful and weight savings in reciprocating weight is worth 10 or more times weight off of rotational weight.

So I set out to design a lite weight 6G72 4340 forged steel rod without sacrificing power handling. I Spent many late nights in cad, and consulting with the factory I have them manufactured at to create the Ninja Performance Lite Weight 4340 forged steel rods.

They turned out to be one complete pound lighter per 6 rod set than the rods currently available. One pound off the reciprocating assembly is huge.

This is the 4th batch we have had manufactured. They sell out pretty quickly. Unfortunately I tend to get the next batch started later than I should, 3S people go crazy buying us out quicker than I anticipate and I don't like customers having to wait.

This go round I am going to get the next batch into production when half of this one is sold.
