I gotta do that at some point.

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

No I plan to leave it in there. I have no idea how to go about removing it... more work than it's worth in my opinion. I guess if you're going for weight cutting, but that isn't the goal of this car whatsoever.

Ima want your general analysis on it's effectiveness.

I want to do my rear deck and wheel arches for sure; seems to be a slightly more-than-reasonable amount of tire, road and exhaust noise.

I don't think it's bad forward of the rear footwells, but I'm gonna start there, maybe slap a bit on the door-skins.

Lets get some action in here!

Exhaust is off, transfer case is off, fuel stuff will be totally off by the end of tonight, and I'll start removing all the peripheral engine bits to get ready to pull it. Once engine is out, I will get it on a stand and tuck it out of the way. I can then finish disassembling anything I want off the old car and get the old one out (either together or cut it in half and carry it out). I have a local buddy who already owes me a couple favors that I will be cashing in on!

The passion to work on the car is back! Once I get that old car out, I'll have a ton of extra room... might even repaint the sills and jams... don't know yet. I don't care for the gray, but then again, the color isn't THAT bad... so I might just live with it. The garage is almost a 3 car garage, but when you have 2 cars almost fully disassembled... space gets tight quick.

I seem to have waves of passion to work on it. The cold didn't help earlier in the year, and I had a GF at the end of last year... now I have no excuses! Starting to get warm, and I have a nice garage to work in

Exciting! Where are the pics? You really have to take advantage of momentum when you can! I setup dual widebands over the weekend and ended up having to take the front pre-cat off to repair the threads in the o2 bung, but just kept going at it, instead of bitching about it and taking forever to decide to pull it.

No pics! Too busy just trying to get stuff done. I am always busy doing something... but I'm going to prioritize working on the car a bit. I'll cut the gym time short and work on the car in the evenings and the weekends. I expect to have the engine ready to be pulled by this weekend, although I'll be out of town for Mothers Day. It will come together soon enough!
