So been meaning to post for a while now just been busy with work and the car but figured I'd finally get one posted up. Recently picked up a black 92 vr4 on trade for my 03 gsxr 1000. Car had 145xxx miles on it with faded paint job, issue with the rear wing, some cheap aftermarket seats installed and either a leaky valve cover or oil return line. I fixed a few things slapped some new tires on(car came with some decent looking 18's) and a wheel alignment hoping to mod the car later and within 5 days spun a bearing due to low oil pressure. So the build/true rebuild began. To shorten the story I will list the parts I already have bought and still plan on buying then update were I'm at.
Parts bought:
fresh rebuilt 4 bolt motor with weisco pistons full floater rods 3rd gen lifters, gates timing belt, new oil pump water pump gaskets etc.
new turbo back exhaust 3inch downpipe to 2.5 split
All new drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads.
Spec stage 2+ flipside clutch and throw out bearing
3inch gm maf
Maf translator v2
450cc Dsm injectors
Aem tru boost gauge and controller
3sx oem mounts all 4
3sx fuel loop kit
Bm15g turbos brand new
triple air vent gauge pod
New shift boot and oem clip ring
Oem used ebrake
Own lighter
Aftermarket 10mm gauge wire set
Parts still need to buy:
Data logger

New gaskets and fluids
Car came with aftermarket 18inch wheels, a decent custom sound system with 2 10inch subs in a hidden box behind the rear seats and the worn out cheap eBay seats. I will post pics or parts and what not tomorrow as I'm passing out soon. Right now the engine and transmission is out of the car the stock turbos were sent off to be rebuilt and turned into 15g's and once there back everything goes back in. I'm located in st.Peters mo just outside st.louis and have talked to a few local guys alreadys but always looking for help and to meet some 3s people. Was talking to Boomer and I'm gunna try and setup a bbq when the turbos get in to get some people over to help out things back in and shoot the shit/eat and drink. All are welcome. Looking forward to meeting and talking to some new car people.
