    Stop repairing cars

Automakers to gearheads: Stop repairing cars

Automakers are supporting provisions in copyright law that could prohibit home mechanics and car enthusiasts from repairing and modifying their own vehicles.

You thought you own your car?
Those, who stand for nothing, will fall for anything.
On the Internet you can be anything you want. It's strange that so many people choose to be stupid.

    Fuck'em.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

John Deere is on this, as well. Many farmers have been opting for older, non-computer controlled equipment, as a result.

Where's lawdogg? I'd like to hear what he thinks about this as he's in this field.

sure fire way to kill new sports car sales if not other genres as well. if something like this passes you might actually see a 20+ year old Mitsu sell for the $25K asking price.

Yeah, sell yours for 25k and buy a new car you can't work on.

    One of the comments
The fact that this idea has even garnered momentum is deeply disturbing
    Yes it is.
