    NG15 Registration is OPEN!

The time has FINALLY come... NG15 registration is OPEN! A few things to note about this year's event...

    * There will NOT be a go-kart event.
    * Drag Races will be held during Test & Tune on TUESDAY night.
    * For anyone who pre-paid for their road course, please register, don't pay, and send an email to lori@3sng.org. I'll apply the credit and email back letting you know that you can finalize your registration.
    * Because of the appeal of this track, but also the more challenging nature, this year we're going to offer "touring sessions" for $50. These are laps at a controlled speed, faster than a pace lap but run in a similar manner, with no passing allowed. Touring sessions will include two track sessions, and the opportunity to upgrade to a beginner-level road course participation, with the cost of the touring session to be applied and only the difference to be paid.
    * We're easing up on the schedule a bit this year. Our intention is to hold the car show on Friday evening, with all day Friday to prep the cars. The banquet will still be held on Saturday night.

NG15 is only 85 days away now! I can't wait to see everyone there! If you're unfamiliar with The National Corvette Museum, you're in for a real treat - especially when you hit that road course. Even I, who doesn't care about the racing, can't wait to be there again. Also, Bowling Green is only one hour north of Nashville, so that's something to consider during the free time we've scheduled. Beech Bend, an amusement park, is located only moments from the hotel as well. That's where we'll be holding this year's drag races.

See you in less than three months!

    Registration: 3S National Gathering - June 23th - 28th, 2015

Someone is going to have to explain this pricing to me!

Why is it $100 for entry fee and then another $25.00 when I add my vehicle details to register for any of the events? So even if I just wanted to be in the car show and none of the other events it will still add $25.... So what is the $100 covering exactly?

Also note the touring lap is not even listed in the events.

    Check it out on Youtube!!

    Touring lap fixed.

Pricing Short Answer: Not everyone that comes brings a car. Some people bring more than one.

Longer answer. Because of the attendance level, the event costs can not be covered just via race fees. This cost has to be spread across everyone that comes. Pricing is setup to spread the load across everyone without making the price higher than the value people receive.

Every year this comes up, and every year I answer it pretty much the same. Here we go again, hopefully the only time I have to do this for this year.

Your $100 is NOT going into my pocket. In fact, my pocket usually empties out a little for the event to make ends meet. Your $100 covers your registration materials (which includes paper, ink, fusers, drums, etc. for the printer, bags to put it all in, and any other materials we're able to add based on what money we have available, lanyard, badge holder, badge paper, car show sheets and costs associated with those, and tons more), t-shirts, print costs on t-shirts, INSURANCE for you AND your vehicle as long as it's registered with us, your spectator fees into everything, your banquet, your car show entry (unlike BRG, we generally have to rent a space large enough), prizes, and I'm sure there's more that I can't think of this early.

This event is NOT BRG. This is a racing event, with track fees, insurance fees, and tons more.

Pretty sure the reason it continues to be asked is because none of what you said is mentioned anywhere on the website, during registration, etc. For each any every item you have listed that has any sort of cost associated with it you should have a breakdown of what all that cost is covering, not only as a disclosure of the cost, but also just for general reference so that the attendees know exactly what to expect and what not to expect.

Information is spread out all over the place and not centralized on the site like it should be. You have information posted in various threads, the facebook page, etc. Some of it is here or there.

If you guys need help getting information centralized or whatnot let me know. I do work for one of the largest email marketing companies in the world....

Also note you misspelled my sponsor name "Gonzo Hydrograpics", it should be "Gonzo Hydrographics"

Posting cost details would just get us into discussions we do not have time to deal with. Someone will have an issue with the amount we list for something and a big mess will come from it. (This is the internet you know )

I will look into adding this test that is on the NG's home page to the registration system
    Registration and Guest Packages
Includes event liability insurance, spectator entry into all events(Except Drags $10 at the gate), and a participants' package containing area maps, special offers from sponsors, etc.

    I have a some questions:

    1) NCM offers track insurance for HPDE events - Are we going to be able to use this for the NG?

    2) What track configuration did we get, Grand Full Circuit or West Circuit?

    3) Touring Session Questions:
    a. If you sign up for the Touring Sessions and after the first session decide to upgrade to Beginner-Level Road Course, will you lose out on a Beginner session?
    b. Event prices are typically higher during the NG, will the upgrade fee be the cost of the on-site event registration or will it be the same as the pre-event registration price since you signed up for the Touring Session pre-event?
