    can i swap different year radios?

    I have a 1991 VR4 with the factory stereo and CD below. it barely works. CAN I put a 97 double DIN in there and use the same wiring harness? will the steering wheel controls still work also? here is a photo of both. thanks for any help or advice.

    i don't see why not, it should only take 5 minutes to find out! just pop off the bezel and undo 4 screws (and then another 4 for the side brackets) and find out!

    The 91 had a different harness than the 94-2000 harness.

    can i swap different year radios?



    Trying to install this one on my 1st gen but cant I.D the wires and finding a diagram is a pain, This was off a 93 but there's no ground

    It probably grounds through the mounting plate.
