    So very sad to hear this... He was a great man and superb actor. He will be missed...

    I've already taken a lot of flak on STO for saying this, but I wish it would have been George Lucas. Nimoy is just irreplaceable. Doohan, Kelly and Nimoy. Trek died quite a bit today.

    I'm going to go play STO and drown my sorrows.

    He was a great actor who got typecast after playing Spock. He once said he would never put the ears on again after Star Trek was cancelled. Of course, he's been in most of the Star Trek productions since then, including the newest incarnation. I guess it helps when Vulcans have a 250 year lifespan!

    Always thought he was the only character on any of the Star Trek vehicles he appeared in who wasn't just totally laughable, right out of the gate.
