Rays car would be a good one for him to play with. Since that car is the essence of what the 3/S is to people being honest with themselves. A really really fast GT car.

I concur and suggested the same on the other site. Ray's car would likely fit Matt's taste. Not sure what Ray has done suspension wise, if anything, but that may be the only weak spot since Matt seems to like canyon carving.
    1992 Kilder Green VR4 - First 4G swap in a 3S. 2.0, auto, awd. 9.65 at 143mph. Now LS swapped. 8.52 at 162.

Think Ray put lowering springs on some new ECS struts, Intrax maybe? Hard to recall. I know he was asking opinions about lowering springs on one of the FB groups.

Only thing I'll say about Rays car is that even as a GT-esque car, probably represents more than most 3S owners will actually do. I'd say something with 15Gs, BPU and a piggy back is probably more representative for most of what's out there. Think that the guy in the video said he had only gotten it a couple weeks prior though, so still mostly stock. Car doesn't really wake up till you either ditch the 9Bs or can run meth/E85 and just crank the boost...or start removing a decent bit of excess weight.

close your eyes and watch the vid...you swear seth rogen is trying to review a 3/s.

    p.s.
I second how fucking clueless the world is about the 3/s platform. Then again, this is the same body public who keeps telling me that benz's are unreliable as fuck--even though i've seen no evidence of this at all in my 3 years here.

Who cares what most 3/S owners drive...give him a 700awhp awd tire roaster to review! (That looks and drives stock) He'll complain about brakes and suspension, which he does on every car that's not his corvette, but he also likes sleepers and Ray's car fits bill.

Don't even have to close your eyes to picture Seth Rogan. They could be related.

This is probably right, a ways back he bought a TechWorks ECS controller from me. Said he had always wanted to retrofit ECS into his '96.

I don't know this guy from adam, but if a vette is his benchmark of quality, he has NO room to talk.

If his vettes suspension and brakes are very good what is the difference if it is a corvette or not?
