So got a couple things ordered over the weekend. Now I am going to try and tackle the Oil cooler situation. My stock one was fragged from the Spun bearing. The new engine won't come with one. I am ok with running a stock Core, but I don't want it in the stock mounting area. I would like to switch to Front mount. Post up what pics you have of you're FMOC set up.

Time for an update, got the new engine over the weekend.

Tonight ABM and myself pulled the pan. Bearings need replacing but crank is fine. So new bearings and she will be drop in ready.

It's been a good amount of time since I last updated this. As life goes, up and freaking down all the time.

So, finally... Got the old engine out of the car

    Late night pull with ABM.

Next up, the engine I purchased was just plan ugly and the turbos are bunk.. Swapped them out for some lower mileage 9b's...But that could very well change in the next week or so.

    All better

Also in unrelated to the stealth, picked up a reliable DD.

What brand of front manifold is that on the new engine?

Xo2 Racing was on the tag, to be honest they are kinda shit in quality. I imagine I will be swapping them before long. But they came with the engine so I'm not gonna complain.

Funny thing about that company, they make some wild aftermarket shit for our cars... Shitty body kit mostly. But their interior door panels deff intrigue me.

Thanks for the information. Never seen a front manifold that routes the pipes like yours, thats what triggered my curiosity.

    Lol, thanks man...

Yea, my old 325i went 311,00 miles. After being tracked by one member on here and abused by a couple others/me. It really was a good car. The guy I sold it to totaled it not long after tho .

Well update time, Saturday got a little later start then I should have but the weather was beautiful so I really enjoyed the day.

Got the engine in and bolted up

Time for a front mount oil cooler, you can't tell in the picture but its about twice the thickness of stock

    Installed

All buttoned up and ready to roll as far as the fmoc goes.
