    The Rebirth 2!

So I have a 91 TT that spun a bearing back in Dec, 2011. I did what most people do and started to part the car out. During that time I also bought a 93 RT/TT that had an engine problem. Well the plan was to make one good out of 2 bad. Well nothing ever goes as planned. I was faced with divorce, followed(in the same week) by Jail time, loss of employment, and finally left with out a house or car. Well thanks to amazing friends... One such friend ABM stuck a deal with me and he was awarded two broken 3s's for one running driving BMW(banzai Bimmer). None of what I have now could have been possible with out him. That is a debt I don't know if I will ever be able to repay. But I will always try.

Sooo fast forward, I am now in the process of putting back together the last couple pieces of a life I once had. So now for some Technical questions... It is a 91TT, I will be putting a new heart into her out of a 94 Vr4. So I know the 91 has a cas sensor, the 94 does not. Stealth 316 used to have a write up which is no longer available. I wanna know if anyone has ever done the swap with out having to swap the whole engine harness over? I know there is a way you can wire it up, but it causes latencies with the computer... That I am ok with because I will be able to do away with those via a flash ecu.

So main question being what wires need to be wired in where? Has anyone done this that maybe took pictures?

Now picture time for me... How the car sits as of now.

You can put the 91 CAS in the 94 rear head without any issues. Just remove the "plug" on the head.

Interesting Stealthee, no one has ever mentioned that method.

Nate, when I first got the car it was pink. Got to close the first time I buffed it and went down to the primer, luckily it was the a pillar piece so i was able to source another thanks to CheckeredVr4.

Yeah, run it like you would the normal 91. I am going the other way around, where I have 1st gen heads and 2nd gen wiring harness... thats when you have to do wiring.

Thanks for the help guys.. If it's that simple then awesome!

Next Friday I should be making the last installment on the engine, ordering a downpipe for the cat back I have.

Me too buddy, it's a jdm engine with 30k on the clock out of another stl/Peoria members VR4.. Do should do well. At the moment I'm only pushing to make this car a DD 9b car. So maintance is top priority. I want the car to be tip top when I put it on the road this time around.

    List goes as follows

    Engine and (management(needed)+60k parts
    2gen brakes(needed)
    New rotors and pads( needed)
    Brake lines(needed)
    Exhaust(on order)
    Wheels and tires(in the making)
Oil cooler(needed) this is a big one.I'm looking possibly to do front mount.
    Cooling( needed).

After the next two weeks I should have half that list marked off.
