    Collector Car Insurance

Any of you guys have experience with these companies? I currently have regular insurance on my VR4 but obviously it's more expensive and they don't cover it for what it is worth to me.

My main priority is easy claims. I drive my car to run errands once in a while. Drive it for fun. Car shows. Races. I don't want them to have an easy loophole to deny me or I will just keep regular insurance.

I was speaking to my Allstate agent they suggested I get Hagerty, I've heard they are really good. But if it's only to be driven to shows and the trips to the beach or ice cream shop I also wonder how hard it would be to get say a chip in a windshield fixed if you get hit by a stone.

State Farm offers collector car insurance. You are limited to 4k miles a year. I have my three 3/Ses on it. Its stated value insurance, so you tell them how much you want your car valued at. My Stealth is valued at $10k and its about $100 for six months of full coverage insurance.

$100 for 6 months? That sounds crazy cheap. Whats the deductible if something happens?
