    Help Injector Size Question

They just built a E85 station 3minutes away from my house. So I'm making the switch. I'm looking to push around 600ish to the wheels. I have fully upgraded fuel system…only stock part is the line that runs under the body of the car. I'm using chrome to tune. So I'm shopping for Injectors currently using 550's just like what is recommended for pump for a 500WHP. Now that I'm switching to E85 you figure upper 500's and add your 30% and now your looking at around 1000CC. The issue is I'm searching for injectors that are 1,000CC and also have their injector latency tables posted online. The only company I'm having luck that are bolt on injectors are RC Injectors and I'm only finding them on Pampena's Site and they skip over 1000 and go straight to 1200. Currently Im running 550 Lucas and just run the 550RC latencies but pushing the power I will be pushing and E85, I'm a little worried about using another injectors latency table. If you guys can either help confirm that 1200s wont cause any drivability issues that I'm not forecasting and/or help me find some 1000s that have their latency tables posted somewhere.

As always thanks for any help!
    Mike

I'm running FIC 1050s and have some pretty reasonable startup, latency, and sizing for e85 numbers.

FIC 1050s here too. Mine are the old Low-Z version, so I still have the resistor pack. Ran fine with Chrome + gas also. I guess the FIC 1120s would be the closest current injectors to what I'm running.

The biggest in tank fuel pump you can run is the Walbro E85. I can't remember the specs of it off the top of my head anymore but I remembered that mathlicmatically it made no sense to run injectors larger than 1050s because the pump couldn't supply any more fuel.

Thanks Greg, that is the pump I'm running. I may just run the Lucas 1000s and use the RC latencies and see what happens then.

The RC injectors should be the same. Even if they are not, you have to tune this anyway. Most of the posted numbers are for other platforms and will need tweaking.

My build is follows: DR650's, STG3 Heads, GCTECH Manifolds/02 Housings, 3SX DP, Tanabe Catback, RC 550's, upgraded fuel rails, loop, AFPR, Walbro 400 E85 Hotwired, as far as lines are concerned the only line that is not aftermarket is the line that runs the bottom of the car.

You don't tune the Latencies tables right?

Also Im running the NGK Coppers…what gap do these cars like. I thing I was running like 30. But have been done some research and didn't realize that have some that are non resister….and the cars like lower gaps I guess for spark blow out.
