I think it looks alright. But have the pillars black too not just rooftop.

try black roof, roof pillars and 2 black stripes

The Black would go, maybe switch the red with a silver vinyl, I used a fine metallic silver color with my "Hennessey" windshield banner, and it "glows" in the sunlight....THAT would look good with the pearl yellow paint.

I like the wheels, do you know if the offset will allow them to fit? Wonder if anyone has ever used these.

Yeah, a handful of 3S guys run the 18x9 AMR wheels which is a big bonus because someone else was already the guinea pig. They have a 30mm offset which, if I did the simple math correctly, would place them only 2mm further out from the fender than my current 18x8 20mm offset wheels.

Those wheels look dead nuts like P45r's, and people run those all the time.

The car took a back seat to other projects, holidays and flippin' cold weather but I have made some more progress recently on the not-so-cold days.

I wired up a Blue Sea Systems fuse block with ground bus for supplying power to various doodads in the center console. I ran a couple wire harnesses with 3 power/3 ground each from the rear hatch area (where the fuse block is located) to the center console.

I got the center console buttoned up too. After a lot of searching I found a radio delete plate to mount my knobs and USB ports into under the radio. The delete plate is Nissan part # 6847060M00. I had to drill new mounting holes so it would mount at the correct depth to the OEM DIN mounts but that was easy since it's plastic. The left knob is for the subwoofer amp bass boost, right knob is the rotary encoder for the LCDBC, left USB port receptacle is hooked to the 2 USB ports on the back of the radio, and the right receptacle has 2 powered USB ports.

Up front I got my FMIC lights and LED fog lights separated so that the LED fog lights work with the factory fog light switch and the FMIC lights are wired up to a remote control unit. I also bought a $47 low beam LED headlight kit to try out. I replaced the driver's side bulb with the LED bulb. The passenger side headlight has a halogen bulb left in it for comparison. I've been fighting a high idle issue so when the car is road worthy again I will test out the LED bulbs to see if the light output is good or not. Just looking at how they shine on the front of the garage wall 7 feet in front of them the LED bulb has a much crisper cutoff and the light is truly white to match the rest of the LED lighting. They have a flexible heatsink which gives enough clearance that they can be installed with the headlight still mounted in the car.

My brother is finally getting to bodywork and paint while I do some interior work with my dad who is great at woodworking.

All emblems have been shaved or filled in. Including all lettering on the rear bumper and doors, Chrysler emblems on side skirts, and Mitsu emblem/license plate dimples on the 99 bumper.

    Shaved radio antenna.

Start of the rear seat delete.

The car didn't come with a spare tire so I originally built a sub box in the back but after slicing a sidewall on a tire a couple years ago and having to screw around in a parking lot to get the tire fixed I've decided to put a full size spare in. Which means the subwoofer and amps needed to be relocated. I ended up getting new stackable Alpine amps to fit the space better and I like the look of them.

The subwoofer fires down to keep it hidden and protected. I've added a vent hole that exits behind the passenger seat to allow for air movement under the box.

I'm building 2 grills for the amps. The one pictured here will be painted and open to show off the amps. LED strips will be placed on each side of the amps. The 2nd grill will be covered in grill cloth to hide the amps and have ribs to give some protection but let them get air flow.
