    I might have a pic of my 5 speed cables sitting next to my 6 speed ones.

    I must have the wrong cables or in 91 there was only 1 adjustable cable. Perhaps this is why my trans feels weird to shift.

    There is a pic or white band on them, which tells whether they are 6 or 5 speed cables.

    Well, I'll be damned. Checked my cables, the elevator is red, and the selector cable is white! The PO of the donor for my AWD swap must have replaced one of the cables with a 6 speed one. I just swapped out my shifter cables when I did the swap to be safe.... Damn. Gonna hit up Chris after work today.
