    Planning Out the End Game

Alright, so I'm in the middle of repainting and installing the new interior on my '94, so I'm planning out what I need to wire in and install, and purchase, for later on down the road, so I don't have to do any major modifications on the interior in the future.

The end goal for this car will be a 6G74 with a 6g75 crank, bored for 4.1L, MiVEC heads, with very large turbos and all accompanying mods and accessories. I want to put a BBR kit on front and rear as well, and I'm currently looking into Tein's version of ECS.

The real decisions I have to make now though are for the interior. Mainly, if I should go the route of a fECU or the AEM EMS v2 for the engine management, and what gauges I need. I already have BlackStealth's digital cluster gauge, which measures knock, boost, coolant temp, and wideband O2. I have a Greddy turbo timer that measures voltage, and I'm looking at Defi gauges to replace the in dash gauges (specifically, two EGT- one for each bank, and an oil pressure). Are there any more gauges I will want or would be wise to have, and would there be any conflict between any of these systems I mentioned?

Also, is there anything I'm overlooking, or from experience, you guys would advise doing or avoiding? Thanks!

I don't think you can do MIVEC control with the flash ECU at this point, so plan on an EMS.

Probably will want to have a pile of spare transmissions, transfer cases, and axles on hand before you drop a 4.1L and big turbos in it.

Wouldn't be too hard to set up an RPM window switch I don't think.

As far as trans and transfer cases, braced bell housing and a SS or billet transfer cases would likely be plenty. If you're going to do it big and spend 10k on an short block:
SCE center, quaife front, hybrid LSD rear and a set of Ohlin coilovers should be in the budget.

I'd likely go AEM V2 in your situation, but I've already got one so easy for me to say.

    http://lcdbc.xp3.biz/AEMVersionUserManual.pdf

    Finally found his website

    http://lcdbc.xp3.biz/

Currently it communicates to Mitsubishi OBD1 (Dodge Stealth / Mitsubishi 3000GT / Eagle Talon DSMs / etc), MUT / OBD2 protocol, and AEM EMS via serial telemetry. Nissan Consult protocol is soon to follow.
