Swapping to JDM 6 speed....help me check my parts list!

    I have a '93. Naturally a 5 speed.

I am doing a JDM 6 speed swap

    Currently I have
Built 6 speed. (locker front diff and bell housing brace installed)
    6 speed transfer case
    6 speed shifter cables

    is that all I need?

I dont need the shifter housing for the 6 speed, do I? Its my understanding that they are different part numbers but the late-5 speed ones work.
Also its my understanding I can use the 5 speed driveshaft. yeah?

    Thanks.

you should be good. You'll know if the shifter box isn't going to work if you can't get into reverse.

Don't you need the rear end? Also I'm pretty sure the plate that goes between the engine and trans is different.

JDM "MR" gears use the 5 speed rear.

fairly certain you can use a 5 speed shaft on a 6 speed transfer case but not the other way around.
