    GI/FS: '92 "Panda" VR-4 rolling chassis and powertrain pkg

    Hello everyone! This is a serious feeler as given some circumstances, it is not quite in the cards to hold on for the "Panda v3 build" right now. I am offering a deal on the rolling chassis with many, many goodies and modifications as well as an additional powertrain package for everything else. You can opt to build the car to your liking or perform a part-out while keeping what you need/want. She has already seen three different builds at 300, 450, and 500+WHP with one engine overhaul over five years, so a sense of accomplishment and joy has already been attained with my "function over form" approach.

    Vehicle: 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4
    Odometer: 150k on the chassis
    Title: Clean CA title in-hand and registered through January, 2015
    Vehicle history report is also in-hand with my receipts.

    **Rolling Chassis Specifications**

    Exterior:
    • FULL 1999 body conversion w/ front+rear bumper covers, side skirts, sail panels, rear garnish, CF combat wing [from Gabber's widebody VR-4], headlights, and turn signals.
    • GT300 fiberglass hood [originally Barry's in 2006] w/ Aerocatch locking hood latches
    • DDM 35w 6000k HID low-beam [hard-wired] - <15k
    • Plasti-Dip black with white top and white side-view mirrors aka "inverted Panda"


    Wheels/Brakes/Clutch:
    • 18"x9" +22 Saleen Reps [originally from Jay's '99 VR-4] white-painted
    • 245/40R18 Nitto 555 [7-years-old] w/ lots of tread but cracks forming - <5k miles
    • AZ blank rotors - cleaned and prepped for proper bedding - <15k miles
    • Hawk HPS front brake pads - <15k miles
    • Centric? rear brake pads - <15k miles
    • black-painted calipers - <15k miles
    • OEM ABS delete
    • 3SX SS brake lines - <15k miles
    • 3SX SS clutch line - 10k miles
    • 3SX solid shifter bushings - <15k
    • OEM slave cylinder - 10k miles
    • ATE Super Blue DOT4 brake+clutch fluid - <15k miles


    Exhaust:
    • Stillen 1G DP - modified w/ flex
    • AMS 3" 300CPSI HFC section w/ stock shields
    • Blitz NUR Spec R 3" CBE


    Gauges/Electronics:
    • AEM 52mm UEGO
    • AEM 52mm Tru-Boost - no solenoid used
    • AEM 52mm Water Temperature
    • AEM 52mm Oil Pressure

    • KB Boost-A-Spark - <15k miles


    Interior:
    • Corbeau CR1 Racing Seats - cloth with faded areas [originally belonged to "immortal vr4"]
    • Corbeau 4-point harness for driver's seat - <15k
    • Momo hub + NRG quick release + generic "Ralliart" racing steering wheel
    • custom switchboard for auxiliary devices, such as fans and gauges
    • Black dyed dash
    • Black headliner including detachable sunroof cover


    Misc/Etc/Notes:
    • Hella Supertone horns - <15k
    • FULLY gutted interior - no carpet, panels, speakers, computers
    • Many deletes, such as CC, ABS, rear wiper, ANT, clutch asst, A/C & evap - blower/HVAC still intact
    • Underhood harness reduction w/ deletes and fuse box relocation
    • 2G buckets w/ radiator support will be included
    • Replaced PS half-shaft/axle with new aftermarket - 10k
    • Replaced brake switch with new Duralast - <15k
    • Engine bay/frame/chassis has been recently and mostly resprayed VHT gloss black
    • Front-left, lower frame for radiator is slightly bent from two owners ago
    • Sockets for low-beams on '99 headlights have broken tabs - been improvising


    **Powertrain Package** for everything else

    • 2-Bolt bare short block - needs overbore
    • 2-Bolt heads w/ 3mm LA's - <20k but recommend rebuild/staged w/ oversize
    • Kormex-built 25-spline trans w/ hardened OS - <30k but needs rebuild
    • Kormex-built 25-spline TC - <30k but needs rebuild and new housing(s)
    • TD04-HL Phantom turbos [19T-class] <15k w/ new "drweldin" 0.8bar WG's
    • IPS Racing Oil Pan for 2-bolt [damaged upper half from snapped rod] w/ NEW 3SX oil pan to combine
    • Paul "Seattle92VR4" custom Hyper-Flex [red] motor mounts - 10k
    • Dave "my923ksl" custom trans bracket [black] - 10k
    • 3SX adjustable cam gears w/ 3SX clear covers - 10k
    • blue powder-coated valve covers and upper plenum
    • SPEC "Stage 4+" clutch set remains w/ OEM FW
    • rebuilt, original alternator [done locally] w/ modified bracket - 10k
    • rebuilt, original TB by April "dbest" - 10k
    • rebuilt AND very clean, low-mileage Fed-Spec ECU's [two units]
    • gutted pre-cats w/ turbo manifolds
    • lower intake plenum with decent threads
    • thermostat housing w/ crossover pipe and new Goodyear hoses
    • Samco [blue] radiator hoses
    • OEM water pump - 10k
    • OEM timing tensioner pulley - 10k
    • OEM timing idler pulley - 10k
    • OEM TPS, IAC, PTU, O2's, starter, and coils - all functional
    • OEM crank pulley
    • OEM rear turbo COP
    • NGK ignition wires
    • all required brackets, bolts, lines, shields, etc. bagged and tagged for assembly



    Basically, for $5000, you can start with a solid foundation for a street, strip, track, or whatever build that your heart desires. If everything sells, then that is cool. If not, then I know that it was not meant to happen that way. If worse comes to worst, then I may do a complete part-out and junk the remains. Should fate deal me some great cards with things looking better in the platform/community, then I might continue as planned here. Regardless, this does mark me going under the radar a bit with no new tuning for a while with the exception of existing, ongoing ones - to an extent anyway.

    '92 VR-4 - Fully built, AEM EMS S2, MHI EVO3 16G's, suspension, and corner balancing | '10 EVO X SE | '04 EVO VIII SSL
    4/1/21 - "retuned" est. 570AWHP VD SAE (580 U/C | second gear | 88°F) holding ~30psi (more boost & less timing still... hehe)
    On the side (v.4): IPS single turbo kit w/ GReddy 70mm, BC 3.4 billet stroker crank, BC gears, Italo billet oil pump gears, etc.
