[Q] How to Launch and shift? PBR

I was wondering the correct way to launch a NA 95 3kGT.
I am talking about launching hard, I have googled it, and there seems to be alot of mixed responses, some say that revving up to 3 or 4000 RPM and then dropping the clutch. It doesnt sound all that good for the transmission. The other way was to let the clutch out slow but fast at the same time, which is confusing... So how do you launch in the fwd NA so that you have a hard fast launch?

The other thing is about shifting. I have heard of power shifting, where you dont release the gas at all in between shifts, which also seems bad for the car. And then there is quick shifting which is obvious. What, if any, are the benefits of powershifting over quick shifting ( ignore the fact that powershifting isnt good for the car). And when downshifting, I heard of double clutching it, so that it is easier to put the car in gear, would this help for example going from 2nd to 1st? Is it bad to go back into first if you arent at a complete stop?

If there is anything that you guys would suggest over these methods please share them.

so wait, it runs low 15's or not? Is it even your car?

Crunch boom means you will be spending significant time and money on your trans.

yes it is my car, my friend who owns a mechanic shop, goes there regularly. He is locally sponsored by idk who, and he is beefing up an el camino with some crazy engine what not. But he took it down to the track to see what it ran, and it was like 15.3~.5

I knew that if i went down there, i wouldnt hit low 15s... thats why i am asking for advice.

I was told on 3SGTO facebook that .5 is not "low".
