I just watched the Premiere episode and I did not have a single issue with it. And it was fun. Fun seems to be missing from too many superhero movies and TV shows.

call me when the series wraps up and i'll netflix it. my heart has been ripped out too many times.
You may be waiting a while. It posted the best premiere ratings for any show on CW for the last 5 years. It beat all but 4 shows from the major networks and that includes Agents of Shield. If it keeps up at this level it will probably be running for a while. (same creative team from Arrow which started season 3)
Personally I think it will outlast Gotham.
That's fine. I just finished HIMYM, and now I'm back to season 5 of VOY. I have plenty of stuff in my cue to tide me over until then-heck, I never even tried breaking bad.
Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for the show. That said, I'm very jaded and cynical--thanks to NUMEROUS shows that were cancelled before their time. I'll let it play out.

Watching
Done, great pilot! setting DVR up now.
I watched the pilot when it leaked in may/june. I enjoyed it, but it did have it's couple hokey parts. If you watch Arrow (which you should be doing) you'd have met Barry during season 2. Right now Flash s1 and Arrow s3 are lining up episode per episode, with Flash airing a night before Arrow. Episode 8 of each series is going to be a massive crossover episode between the two and they're saying that those are going to be two of the best episodes of TV this season.
Definitely looking forward to enjoying Flash and Arrow this season :b

I watched the "leaked" one as well. IMO that was an intentional leak to generate buzz.
Their are some silly bits here and there but as a whole its just so good. I think as far as pilots go its done a great job of getting Barry right and staying true to his current comic origins.
I'd agree with the intentional leak on it as well. Overall, the pilot/premiere was quite enjoyable and sets us up for some good season one action.
