I got the rare opportunity to attack this brand new track. It's a big 23-turn 3.2 mile course with 4 (or more likely) configurations. We were there for their first time letting cars hot-lap the track. They has hosted one prior "grand opening" event but it was only parade laps. The full track was awesome - just watch the videos.

Presently, the NG15 has the "west track" booked, with the option of upping to the full track. I know the west half alone would be pretty fun as well, but it does take out the 2 long straights. But it is the bigger half, and between the 2 separately, the better half. I know Lori and committee are discussing going for the full track. So we'll have to see....

But for those that have not done road course, it really is a TON of fun. It lets you open up and stretch the legs of your car a bit, in a controlled environment, with NO cops to ticket you! Everyone always talks about wanting to really "drive" their car. Well, the NG Road Course event is your chance! And with the different levels/groups the NG sets up, if you have never road coursed before, the beginner group gives you the opportunity to get out on the track in an unintimidating non-race environment and really enjoy your car. I highly recommend it!!

Here are 2 of my 3 videos from the full 3.2 miles - 20 minute sessions.
