~WTB~ aftermarket awd tt pressure plate or cheap clutch kit

Hey guys i bought a trans, put a few thousand miles on it and it shit the bed with some unusual internal damage.

Being on a budget i put in a xtd 6 puck which has served me well, but i want something a little beefier. I have a south bend stage 4 which the pp is faulty (bullshit) and i got boned on that big time too. I would like to at least use the sb disk.

Im looking for a cheap used or new aftermarket pressure plate that will hold some power. Let me know what you have please. Not looking to spend 5xx dollars on a new one.

Would buy a disk pp combo if price is right.

Explain the PP being faulty? Have you contacted SB about rebuilding/replacing it?

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

First of all the pedal was softer than stock. I bled the lines about 20 times every which way and the pp still wouldn't release. I had to shim the slave so far just to get it into gear that it was pretty much useless.

There are a few others that have had the same problem with the same exact clutch. One of them lives about 20 min from me.

I have a lw flywheel and dont feel like getting the run around. The fw step is right on nominal tolerance.

Mine is lighter than stock as well. Had to bleed it 4-5 times, and it still let go at the floor. After driving it about 100 miles it has gotten to where I like it.

Unfortunately all I have is an extra oem PP.
