Hi, quick question. Where would you recommend for my turbo rebuild?

Hi, my rear turbo has started to whine and my exhaust has begun to smoke. I would like to know the best places (professional companies or suppliers) to have my turbos rebuilt. The only place that I have heard of is Midwest Turbo Connection (Are they any good?) Can anyone here help with some advice?

    Thank you.

I wouldn't go to MTC. They don't have expensive balancing machines. You're going to need a much larger company. The only vendor related company I would trust is to send your turbos to Dynamic Racing and have his shop he outsources to rebuild the turbos. He has a long standing reputation and went through a number of turbo shops before he found a good one. Otherwise, I'd probably look for someone that has a Schenck turbo balancer. Mine are working great with that technology.

Boostmore does a lot of rebuilds and upgrades for the community at reasonable prices.

That said, I'd likely go ahead and just have them turned into 15Gs or something rather than rebuilding 9Bs.
