I didn't think point bys were as bad last year as in previous years. If someone is causing an issue, speak up. If you don't want to be the bad guy talking to them, talk to Alan, Lori, Bridge, or pretty much any of the experienced guys and we'll talk to them for you. I was on my way to talk to one of the drivers last year, but his car forced him out before I got to him.

In the later beginner sessions I was forced to back off sometimes for up to 4 laps... Like I said, I feel like it would be a lot less of an issue in intermediate group anyway.

I'll be watching for this sort of thing much more closely than in years past. People who are caught not allowing point bys will be flagged off and spoken to. A second offense will be dealt with more stringently, and so on. No decisions have been made as to how exactly we'll handle it, but we won't be putting up with it. They also may be placed in a different run group that is more suited to their style/speed of driving and lack of ability to watch for people who wish to pass.

Again, it's a little premature for firm decisions, but this is definitely on our radar.

We are 4 months out and still missing a lot of details. The website is also missing a lot of info and there is still stuff from 2014 on there such as pricing.

I have't seen anything about hotels and such so right now I'm blindly saving up and hoping what I set aside will be enough. I'd like to get hotel reservations done and out of the way in the next few weeks.

We have been stuck on some things longer than we wanted to be.

The Drag Strip finally posted there 2015 schedule last week so we can finally talk to them about scheduling.
Waiting to finalize things with the hotel then we should be able to get things rocking.

We know its taking a long time but we are doing what we can.
