Since the date is set, hows about updating the 3sng.org main site so it reflects it? Lets starting promoting it NOW, and getting the details out NOW as they come available rather than having the site outdated still 2 months before (not that that ever happens.... )

I can promote on our site and in our newsletters we occasionally send out. But with old info, there's no destination.

    Just a thought...

Looks like we will be going too. Only an 8hr drive for us. Hopefully the project car is done by then and possibly have my TT too.

As some of you may have noticed on Facebook, last Sunday a couple videos of the NCM track popped up. Let me first apologize for the bad video quality as I was the one holding the iphone trying to capture the footage. And let me just say that if you want to really confuse somebody who doesn't own a smartphone, give them an iphone with a mofi case and then expect them to figure it out at speed on a race track.

Next let me tell you just how sweet the facility for NG15 is, in a word INSANE.

Here is a quick video that runs you through the course layout they had that day. This is the Grand Full course which takes advantage of both the east and west track. Please note that this is a parade lap that has been sped up to give everyone a taste of the curves and elevation changes in store for us next Summer.

    A couple things to note:
    1) The elevation changes don't seem that big in the video. Let me assure you that in person they are plenty big.

    2) Sightlines can be tricky. Turn #12 fools you due to not being able to see the far side of it when setting up for entry. And if you make the mistake of staying inside on the entry you will get pushed out to and probably over the rumble strips.

    3) This track is just plain top notch from start to finish. It just doesn't look good, it feels good. Maybe one of the crew that makes it out to Road America can comment better, but there is something about the feel of being on a track like this compared to say Indy, Memphis, St. Louis, etc.

I personally didn't get to drive this track yet but I am now counting the days.

And yes I will be sure to keep all four tires on the car this time

Has there been any confirmation of how much of the track we will be running on?

Yes. We have officially announced that we'll be running on 2/3 - the West track. However, watch for an announcement this weekend that could change that.

Having driven the full track I am really really hoping we have enough funds available to rent the full track as once figured out the sink hole is an absolute blast to come out of at speed with the tires fighting for traction!!! Can not wait to have a full day on this track that we can go all out!
