You guys apparently are not understanding what Evan is looking for....

Evan, you might try McMaster-Carr, other than that I "used" to make those bushing out of delrin, but its been many moons ago....

They're not plastic, but made from teflon, and honestly last for a very long time (for how much abuse they see)....

    All I can offer....

My ebay kit came with them...

In fact I paniced due to throwing the small one away, and went to put the new one in and dropped it. Lost forever until pulling the console to retrieve!

I tried to look the company up again that I got them from, and they are MIA on ebay.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

    Hey Bob,

The eBay store I linked to has the base bushing in aluminum also. I just posted the store front so they could see all of the different ones they had for the 3S

So is the consensus that no one makes metal bushings for what I am looking for?

THREAD FROM THE DEAD. So referring to Pete's post. The bushing that is vertical, is it the same as the ones under the hood? if not, does anyone make solid bushings for this now? As for the horizontal bushing with the "plastic" insert, does anyone make a solid replacement OR know the part number to the plastic insert? I initially thought it was MB484115 , but I think that part number refers to a different piece.

Its been a long time, but I don't believe the vertical bushing is the same as the underhood bushings. My car is completely disassembled right now or I could check for you for sure. As far as that goes yes is is made, or at least it was available years ago.

The horizontal bushing was never made available as a solid bushing in any of the kits as far as I know. That doesn't mean you can't some measurements and come up with something from McMaster-Carr or the like.

For the base bushings I honestly think I just removed them and bolted the base solid to the floor. Again, its been awhile so I can't remember for sure.
