Spyder Build

Thought I would post my build just to get input and opinions, especially once I start reassembling. Build started when I pulled from a light pulled about 15PSI and heard a loud pop noise and the blowoff valve went off. So coasted to the gas station and the engine idled fine. So I pulled away car just seemed like it had as much power as a 4 Banger and wouldn't boost over 5psi. Compression test showed 90PSI in all cylinders and timing was dead on Except for front bank E-0, I-(-2). So after puling engine I saw the down pipe had more holes and cracks in it and had to be replaced. So I went ahead and unbolted the Catalytic converter and found this:

So I'm pretty sure the engine was completely fine, in fact it was in excellent condition for 78k… original crosshatch, bearings were fantastic, and heads were great. So I went ahead and decided to do a full out build so I do not have to pull this engine for another 200K.

My first build I'm aiming for 500WHP w/meth. Once I get bored at that power level I'll upgrade the heads and turbos.

Current Status of Build: Transmission/TC is at shop getting general inspection and brace installed. Engine has been inspected and given the thumbs up and delivered everything to get bored/hones, balanced, and have flywheel 2-steped.

Updated Build list:
Bought GC Tech Manifolds/02 Housings, 3SX DP w/Racepipe, STG 4+ Clutch. I also made a pretty significant purchase that will be a surprise :-), going for 500WHP on pump gas only.
