    My road course experience, NG

Most of you who were not there probably heard about this and cant wait to see the video, so here goes.

The first video is of my first ever lap. Tommy was in front of me and Eric was riding with me. Tommy seemed to be driving pretty fast so I made the stupid decision to just hang with him. Figured anything he can do I can do.............and I was right, if he can go off course so can I, though I never really considered that part even though I should have know.

So here I am following Tommy across the long straight, I hit around 100 mph on this first lap. I did find it odd that Tommy wasn't slowing down by the markers before the corner, but I stuck with him anyway. I saw Tommy lock up his brakes and that is when Eric yelled "Brakes" and I was on the brakes immediately, but still travelling way to fast for a beginner. Tommy just went straight into the grass, he knew he couldn't make the corner so he never even tried (Not a bad decision on his part). I intended to make the corner anyway but you see how that ended. The damage is minimal, broken marker light and a scratch on the bumper.

In hind sight, knowing that everyone is ok and my car isnt wrecked, this was an awesome experience, though I would never want to do it again.

The second video is just some clean laps from after my spin out. One more crazy thing did happen, a black cat was on the track!!!!

    Enjoy.

We've all gone farming once or twice

How is the GoPro mounted? To the inside of the hatch glass? I need one of those!

Yeah mounted to the hatch glass with the mount that came in the box. I like the view from there.

You couldn't wait to get that video up could you Corey? LOL

I came in too hot and instantly knew I was giving it up. There was just simply no need to risk trying to make that turn after doing two or three things wrong on approach with all of that flat grass in front of me.
I got back into it later on after taking some time out. All is well in the end as both myself and the car arrived home safely. Unfortunately Justin, who was towed off the track twice due to an electrical issue, had engine failure on the way home some where in New Jersey.

It was great to meet you Tommy. We both made a mistake on that lap, shit happens but in the end we were both very lucky.

You were rocking out there Corey, besides the above incident. You even went two feet in. Nice

I was struck by all the headroom you have, even with a helmet, you little shit.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

Hey, thanks for sharing, Corey - looked like fun, sounded like the car treated you nice.

Clutch hung in there okay, so.

Yeah no clutch problems at all but I was careful not to launch.
